Ein junger Geschichtsstudent aus Oxford hatte die Idee mit Hilfe von Twitter die Geschichte des Zweiten Weltkrieges zu erzählen.
Twitter ist ein Kurznachrichtendienst, wobei neue Nachrichten von anderen Mitgliedern und Besuchern verfolgt werden können. Täglich veröffentlicht er neue Meldungen, die die Entwicklungen von 1939 - 1945 beschreiben. Ausgelegt ist das ehrgeizige Projekt auf eine Zeitdauer von 6 Jahren. Jeder Kriegstag kann nach über 60 Jahren miterlebt werden.

Ich finde die Idee super! Die Umsetzung mit dem Einfügen von Bildern und Videos macht das ganze Projekt äußerst interessant und abwechslungsreich.Wenn sich Menschen nicht dafür begeistern können, werden sie wohl keine Hobbyhistoriker werden
